Do you want your child to have:

  • Confidence in spoken English?
  • A greater knowledge and understanding of literature?
  • Skills necessary for GCSE success?
  • An opportunity to gain important qualifications?

Children’s speech tuition classes are either 40 minutes or one hour long.  One-to-one, group and Skype sessions are available. All tutors have enhanced DBS clearance.

All students have the opportunity to work towards and take examinations in Speech. The examinations require no written element and are taken locally.

We prepare candidates for LAMDA, New Era, English Speaking Board (ESB) and Victoria College of Music (VCM) examinations.

LAMDA is the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. It is one of the oldest drama schools in the UK, founded in 1861. Their qualifications have recently been accredited.

LAMDA certificates are very highly thought of by universities and colleges and are registered with the National Framework of Qualifications as a valid qualification. LAMDA study equips pupils with the analytical skills and critical vocabulary necessary to excel in GCSE examinations of all disciplines. They are the perfect compliment to GCSE study and can be used to support UCAS applications. Click here to read more.

Is your career being held back because:

  • Some find your accent is too strong and have difficulty understanding you?
  • You lack confidence in Spoken English?
  • Your presentations are ineffective?

Many of us have received no formal instruction in speech or voice. We speak in a manner similar to those around us – complete with errors in both diction and style. We may be unaware of the faults in our voice until these are pointed out to us. This can lead to a lack of confidence.

A clear speaking voice and correct pronunciation are vital in today’s modern world. Confidence in spoken communication is important for those seeking rapid career progression.

Essentially, our accent reduction tuition will address the following specific points concerning speech: correct vowel pronunciation, correct consonant pronunciation and modulation. Modulation refers to the pitch, pace and pauses of speech. Together these form the very basis of good speech.

All clients are given lessons notes and are instructed in a range of vocal exercises designed to improve aspects of speech.

Lessons can be ‘tailor-made’ to suit your own requirements. You may even wish to gain qualifications to enhance your professional development!

Skype sessions are available.
